Chinese (traditional)Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin:
but he that refraineth his lips is wise. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Judge not, that ye be not judged. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
that publisheth peace;
that bringeth good tidings of good,
that publisheth salvation;
that saith unto Zion,
Thy God reigneth! For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever;
thy throne from generation to generation. As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.Next verse!With image
