Chinese (traditional)Gracious words are like a honeycomb,
sweetness to the soul and health to the body. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” There is a way that seems right to a man,
but its end is the way to death. Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him. Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life;
he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you. Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life;
he who despises his ways will die. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.Next verse!With image
