Chinese (traditional)For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! By insolence comes nothing but strife,
but with those who take advice is wisdom. For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head. Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;
in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. And rend your hearts and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” As far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.Next verse!With image
