Chinese (traditional)For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich,
and he addeth no sorrow with it. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness. Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah.
