Chinese (traditional)I do not nullify the grace of God; for if justification comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing. If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment. Come now, let us argue it out,
says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be like snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light. The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me. And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but one who rejects a rebuke goes astray. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. Now, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care what you do, for there is no perversion of justice with the Lord our God, or partiality, or taking of bribes. It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to put confidence in mortals. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.” For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law. Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you both see and hear. Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord rescues them from them all. For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well. Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it. Arise, shine; for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing. Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. Then the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our lasting good, so as to keep us alive, as is now the case. A fool gives full vent to anger,
but the wise quietly holds it back. And the Lord will become king over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be one and his name one. Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.Next verse!With image
