- Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
- And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”
And His name one. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe. - But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
- While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”
- Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - You, O Lord, remain forever;
Your throne from generation to generation. - Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.
- Yet I am the Lord your God
Ever since the land of Egypt,
And you shall know no God but Me;
For there is no savior besides Me. - Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
- As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God. - Who has performed and done it,
Calling the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first;
And with the last I am He.’ - Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
