- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Praise the Lord!
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who delights greatly in His commandments. - So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
- But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference.
- Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
- Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
- I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
- Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
- If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
- You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
- Yes, in the way of Your judgments,
O Lord, we have waited for You;
The desire of our soul is for Your name
And for the remembrance of You. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. - Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever,
For they are the rejoicing of my heart. - We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. - I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
