- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
- I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
- I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

- Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
- He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
- But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
- Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
- Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.
- Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
