| And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. | Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. |
| Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. | Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers. |
| Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. | It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry. | It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows. |
