Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'I'
- When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - Even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - I shall walk at liberty,
for I have sought your precepts. - Do not fear, for I am with you,
do not be afraid, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - Not that I am referring to being in need; for I have learned to be content with whatever I have.
- I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back because I have compassion on them,
and they shall be as though I had not rejected them;
for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them. - Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth. - For I, the Lord your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Do not fear,
I will help you.” - I treasure your word in my heart,
so that I may not sin against you. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me. - I was ready to be sought out by those who did not ask,
to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that did not call on my name. - If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- Where can I go from your spirit?
Or where can I flee from your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, you are there;
if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. - I will praise you with an upright heart,
when I learn your righteous ordinances. - But I with the voice of thanksgiving
will sacrifice to you;
what I have vowed I will pay.
Deliverance belongs to the Lord! - I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - Am I now seeking human approval, or God's approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still pleasing people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
- Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not hide my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah - I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.Next verse!With image
