- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
- Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
- He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power,
and will not at all acquit the wicked:
the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
- Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
- And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. - Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.Next verse!With image
