- But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.
- And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
- For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. - Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
- O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
- Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion. - Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:

- To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
- And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
- And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

- In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
- And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
- What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
- Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
