Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Takes'
- For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
- Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. - The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. - Fools find no pleasure in understanding
but delight in airing their own opinions. - For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. - Do not envy the violent
or choose any of their ways.
For the Lord detests the perverse
but takes the upright into his confidence. - The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
- You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
- I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
- The Lord is good,
a refuge in times of trouble.
He cares for those who trust in him. - Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle. - And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
- Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. - Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
- If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.
- Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
- The one whose walk is blameless,
who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others. - Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.
Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
