Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?
Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel.

Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established.
