But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. | Remember this: if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly, and if you sow generously, you will reap generously as well. |
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. | I am the gate. Anyone who enters through me will be saved. He will go in and out and will find pasture. |
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. | Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, ‘Streams of living water shall flow from within him.’ |
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? | If anyone is rich in worldly possessions and sees a brother in need but refuses to open his heart, how can the love of God abide in him? |
