Chinese (traditional)- Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
for you, Lord, are good. - For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”
- Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
- Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
- Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- The name of the righteous is used in blessings,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
- Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
- Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
- When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned.
- There is a way that appears to be right,
but in the end it leads to death. - Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
- “Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.” - For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more. - Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.
- God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues. - I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. - We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
- Righteousness exalts a nation,
but sin condemns any people. - If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though they do not know it, they are guilty and will be held responsible.
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.A fool spurns a parent’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. Whoever is patient has great understanding,
but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.Next verse!With image
