Chinese (traditional)The desire of a man is his kindness:
and a poor man is better than a liar. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. But godliness with contentment is great gain. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine. And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.Next verse!With image
