Chinese (traditional)O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin:
but he that refraineth his lips is wise. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.Next verse!With image
