Chinese (traditional)And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.
