And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.
I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? I love the Lord, because he hath heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,
therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues without right. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.Next verse!With image
