Chinese (traditional)Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Judge not, that ye be not judged. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. Therefore also now, saith the Lord,
turn ye even to me with all your heart,
and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them:
but thy right hand, and thine arm,
and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess. Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
and plead the cause of the poor and needy. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah.
