Chinese (traditional)- The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
- For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever;
thy throne from generation to generation. - God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
