Chinese (traditional)- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
- Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
- For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein. - And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
- The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
- According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
- Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.Next verse!With image
