Chinese (traditional)- He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. - God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
- Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.
- Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
- God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - It is a faithful saying:
For if we be dead with him,
we shall also live with him. - For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
- And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
- And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. - Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
- Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight.
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man.Next verse!With image
