- And having been made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.

- And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation.”
- He was despised and rejected by others;
a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity;
and as one from whom others hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him of no account. - Train children in the right way,
and when old, they will not stray. - So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him. - Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all.”
- For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our ruler,
the Lord is our king; he will save us. - Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
- Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
- No one, when tempted, should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil and he himself tempts no one.
- He will again have compassion upon us;
he will tread our iniquities under foot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea. - As they came from their mother's womb, so they shall go again, naked as they came; they shall take nothing for their toil, which they may carry away with their hands.
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that he may exalt you in due time.
- But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
- Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen.
- But he was wounded for our transgressions,
crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the punishment that made us whole,
and by his bruises we are healed. - For he will repay according to each one's deeds.
