Chinese (traditional)Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. For with God nothing shall be impossible. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy,
and after vows to make enquiry. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. Righteousness exalteth a nation:
but sin is a reproach to any people. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah.
