Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? |
| This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. | In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. |
