Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Away'
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
- A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
- The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
- When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. - And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.
- Keep your mouth free of perversity;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips. - Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them. - “Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
- Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.
- You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
- Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
- See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
- Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow. - Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.
- I have swept away your offenses like a cloud,
your sins like the morning mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you. - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
- If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
- The vine is dried up
and the fig tree is withered;
the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree—
all the trees of the field—are dried up.
Surely the people’s joy
is withered away. - Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family,
and do not go to your relative’s house when disaster strikes you—
better a neighbor nearby than a relative far away. - If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction,
even their prayers are detestable. - Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
- At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.” - So then, banish anxiety from your heart
and cast off the troubles of your body,
for youth and vigor are meaningless. - For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.Next verse!With image
