Chinese (traditional)Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. The Lord God is my strength,
and he will make my feet like hinds' feet,
and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. Surely he hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem him stricken,
smitten of God, and afflicted. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.Next verse!With image
