For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Let the words of my mouth,
and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
