Chinese (traditional)But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God? Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God. But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head. If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? A faithful witness does not lie,
but a false witness breathes out lies. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.
For you will render to a man
according to his work. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord.
Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name. O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure.Next verse!With image
