- For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.
- Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah - But surely, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - In you, O Lord, I seek refuge;
do not let me ever be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - But you, O Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low, he also exalts. - Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications! - Deliverance belongs to the Lord;
may your blessing be on your people! Selah - Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

he does whatever he pleases. - While Peter was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him.

- I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you. Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.Next verse!With image
