- The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

and plead the cause of the poor and needy. - Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
- He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
- But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
- The Lord preserveth the strangers;
he relieveth the fatherless and widow:
but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. - We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- But I will sacrifice unto thee
with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
- But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
- Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
- The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.Next verse!With image
