- The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - The human mind plans the way,

- You will be enriched in every way for your great generosity, which will produce thanksgiving to God through us.
- Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all.”
- God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
- Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
- But I with the voice of thanksgiving
will sacrifice to you;
what I have vowed I will pay.
Deliverance belongs to the Lord! - Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
- Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
- Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
