Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.
And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people.
I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.And he went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side. The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.But when you had eaten and were satisfied, you became proud and forgot me.
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.Hatred stirs up quarrels, but love makes up for all offenses.
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.”
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.The grapevines have dried up, and the fig trees have withered. The pomegranate trees, palm trees, and apple trees— all the fruit trees—have dried up. And the people’s joy has dried up with them.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’
