But He is intimate with the upright. - And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

For You are a gracious and compassionate God. - Are two sparrows not sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.
- Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
- One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.
- A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word! - Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal faithfully are His delight. - Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
- Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
- House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”
- One who conceals an offense seeks love,
But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
- But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect.
- Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed quickly, therefore the hearts of the sons of mankind among them are fully given to do evil.
- But when he had thought this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”

- And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
- Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one.
- Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.
- And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to celebrate the Sabbath day.
- Now a mediator is not for one party only; but God is only one.
- Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.
- I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
- Therefore let’s not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this: not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way.
- From my distress I called upon the Lord;
