Bible Verses about 'Men'
- They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. - For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. - Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
- So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
- A gift opens the way
and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. - Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

- But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.Next verse!With image
