- I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

the righteous to be moved. - For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
- The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - But let judgment run down as waters,

in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
- Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
- Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues without right. - Open thy mouth, judge righteously,
and plead the cause of the poor and needy. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
