Chinese (traditional)For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us:
and establish thou the work of our hands upon us;
yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me;
because the Lord hath anointed me
to preach good tidings unto the meek;
he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Labour not to be rich:
cease from thine own wisdom. And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Iron sharpeneth iron;
so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. There are many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.Next verse!With image
