Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit. He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring. For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
