Chinese (traditional)- Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - And the Lord will become king over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
the righteous run into it and are safe. - By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
- This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
- O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
- As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God. - Thus you shall keep my commandments and observe them: I am the Lord.
- For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - The young lions suffer want and hunger,
but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. - To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- And every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
- All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
- But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. - Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
ever since the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
- Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
- So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.Next verse!With image
