Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'What'
- Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
- He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. - “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
- The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them? - The lips of the righteous know what finds favor,
but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. - Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!
- For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
- Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
- What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
- Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
- Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
- Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
- What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
- In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means!
- So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what lies in darkness,
and light dwells with him. - And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
- Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
- What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him. - Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
