The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.
Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
“If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me.”If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.In you, O Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me!
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.Honor widows who are truly widows.
You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him.
Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt. Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.
Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.Everyone also to whom God has given wealth and possessions and power to enjoy them, and to accept his lot and rejoice in his toil—this is the gift of God.
Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.
So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.So we fasted and implored our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.

The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others.He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend.
