Chinese (traditional)The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. House and riches are the inheritance of fathers:
and a prudent wife is from the Lord. For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not. As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people:
and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah.
