Chinese (traditional)- Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
- The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
- Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
- Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
- For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
- I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- I will praise thee with uprightness of heart,
when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. - I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- The statutes of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes. - He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him,
to all that call upon him in truth.Next verse!With image
