Chinese (traditional)- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
- The law of the Lord is perfect,
converting the soul:
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
- I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
- And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
- Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you.
