The Lord is near to the brokenhearted,

but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and forgive our sins,
for your name's sake. - In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters.
